The Ihsan Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Programme aimed to alleviate spending in Ramadhan and bring cheer to senior citizens and those in need in the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The programme was also inline with Yayasan's strategic goals of caring for the needs of those in need. In conjunction with Ramadan 1445 Hijrah/2024, $138,800 were donated to 150 families nationwide.
In Brunei Muara District, the delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of Yayasan Board of Directors. Also present was Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Environment at the Ministry of Development as the Acting Director of Yayasan.
In Belait District, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as Deputy Chairman of Yayasan Board of Directors led the delegation. The donations included basic necessities, soft drinks and cakes.
Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism as Member of Yayasan Board of Directors led the delegation in Tutong District. Also joining was a Member of the Legislative Council.
Meanwhile in Temburong District, donations were presented by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh, Minister of Education as Member of Yayasan Board of Directors.
